7 Day Alarm Clock

The new 7 day alarm clock by American Innovative is probably the most flexible alarm clock on the market. It has an impressive list of features, many of which are customizable. Most importantly, the 7 day alarm clock lets you set a different alarm every single day of the week and therefore fully adapts to your individual and changing schedule.

What is it? It is an alarm clock radio that features two 7 day alarm banks, one for him and one for her. It also comes with daily alarms (up to 7 can be set), nap timer and sleep timer. • A nap timer lets you have a quick nap without disrupting any alarm settings. The timer can be set in 5 minute increments up to 2 hours. It works by counting down and when it hits 0:00, the alarm sounds.
• A sleep timer turns the radio off for you automatically when you are falling to sleep at night. You can set it up to 2 hours in 5 minute increments. It works by counting down and when it hits 0:00, the radio is turned off.
• The alarm wake volume is independent of the radio volume. You can play radio softly in the evening and yet choose to have a louder alarm volume.
• It has an alarm skip feature for people who tend to wake up before their alarm sounds in the morning. It skips the next alarm so it is not sounded, without affecting the one after next.
• It lets you customize a large number of settings. For example, the following features are customizable: snooze duration (1 to 30 minutes), snooze type, gradual wake (on/off), backlight level (off,low,med,hi), alarm duration (1 minute to 2 hours) and several others.
• There are 3 snooze types: Normal, Descending and Off. Normal means that alarm sounds after the set snooze duration, and it is repeatable indefinitely. Descending means the snooze duration is halved every time the alarm is snoozed. Off means the snooze key does not respond.
• The gradual wake option, if set to on, means that the alarm sound volume goes up gradually until it reaches the maximum volume.
• The LCD backlight has 4 levels. If it is set to off, pressing any button will illuminate the LCD for 15 seconds. This is great for sleepers who are disturbed by even the smallest amount of light.
• It has a line-in jack so you can connect your MP3 player to it and play it using the alarm clock's internal speaker. You can use the sleep timer in conjunction with an external audio source so that you can fall asleep to your favorite music.
• It has a line-out (headphone) jack so you can listen to your music without disturbing your spouse.
• It has a powered USB port to power certain external USB devices like laptop-type lamp or fan. The USB port is not meant to be for data transfer.
• It uses a CR2032 button cell battery to retain its memory in case of power outage.
