Black and Decker Cyclone 10 Speed Blender
by Samantha
When my blender broke, yes the base got cracked because it was plastic, I knew I needed a new blender. After all, I use it on a regular basis. Before I had a chance to get one, my mother-in-law presented me with the Black and Decker Cyclone 10 Speed Blender as a gift. This seriously has to be one of the best gifts I've ever received.
The great thing about this blender is that it has 10 different speeds on it. You can even use the pulse feature as well, so it allows you to get the perfect blend for about anything. It doesn't just make milkshakes. This thing actually blends, crushes ice, purees food, and a lot more.
Another big pro to this blender is that it comes with a glass jar. After my problem with the previous blender that was plastic, glass was the perfect thing. It has a special spout on it as well that makes it easily pour. With a 48 oz jar, it's easy to make plenty for everyone.
I'm not a huge fan of washing dishes (who is) so the fact that everything, including the blades, is dishwasher safe is a huge benefit. It also looks great on the counter as well, unlike some of the cheaper blenders. I personally have the black one, although it comes in white as well.
There is one problem I have with the blender. I still have not figured out why it does this, but every once in awhile I'll plug it in and none of the lights come on and it doesn't work. I'll unplug it and then plug it back in and it will usually start working. No idea why this happens, but it does and it's annoying. Otherwise though, this Black and Decker Cyclone 10 Speed Blender works like a dream.
