Microsoft Zune 80GB Review

Last year for my husband's birthday, he wanted an mp3 player, and I was determined to get him one. I decided to take a look at what Microsoft had to offer with their new Zune players. I ended up purchasing him a Microsoft Zune 80GB player, and it has become something that we both enjoy using.

This mp3 player has an LCD screen that is 3.2 inches and we definitely found it pretty easy to use. Not only can you play music, but it does videos, it came with a variety of games, and it has FM radio as well. The earphones that came with it were of high quality as well and it has a system that allows you to hook it up in your vehicle as well to listen to tunes while driving.

Although the Microsoft Zune 80GB usually costs over $200, I was able to get a special sale price of $150, which was a great deal for this product.

Probably one of the main things we love about the Zune is the large amount of memory. With most iPods, by Apple, they only have a small amount of memory. The large 80BG Zune definitely allows you to have all your favorites on the player. Another great thing is the Zune interactive player that goes on your computer so you can sync your music. It makes it easy to create playlists that you can either play on your computer or transfer to the Zune.

One problem we found is that some of the older music files will not work with the Zune, which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, there are no movie downloads or TV downloads available at the Zune Marketplace, which is a con to consider as well.

Overall, we love the Microsoft Zune 80GB player. We use it all the time, and while it does have a couple drawbacks, we wouldn't trade it for an iPod any day of the week.
