What is it? In short, it is an atomic alarm clock that comes with a remote sensor for local weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours. It has a color LCD display with icons to show various forecasted weather conditions. It is also a projection clock which can project a beam to the ceiling or wall showing the time and outdoor temperature.
What are the features of this projection atomic clock?
- It is an atomic alarm clock which synchronizes its clock automatically with a clock radio signal from the US Atomic Clock. All you have to do is to adjust the time zone if necessary.
- It offers a crescendo alarm with a gradually increasing alarm volume. The alarm also has an 8-minute snooze.
- It uses a wireless remote sensor to collect weather data. The remote sensor can be placed up to 100 feet (30 meters) away from the main unit.
- It has a color LCD to display time, alarm, temperature and forecasted weather condition. The controls on the LCD panel are touch sensitive.
- It forecasts weather 12 to 24 hour in advance and uses color-changing graphical icons to show the forecasted weather condition. The forecasted conditions are: Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Snowy.
- It can display indoor and outdoor temperatures. It can also recall daily high/low temperatures (indoor and outdoor) from its memory.
- An adjustable projection beam can be turned on to show time, outdoor temperature and alarm status on the ceiling. Projection image can be rotated by 180° and also be focused to achieve greater clarity. A light sensor within the main unit will turn off the projection beam if it detects increasing brightness level in the room.
- It also has a backlight which can be turned on to view the display in low light condition.
- The main unit is powered by an included 4.5V AC adapter or 3 AAA batteries. The remote sensor unit requires 1 AA battery to operate.
- Note that projection and backlight will only operate continuously when the AC adapter is used in order to help save battery life. If projection and backlight are turned off, pressing snooze will temporarily switch them on for 5 seconds.

- An atomic clock ensures that the time remains consistently accurate. It also saves you from having to set up the time.
- The crescendo alarm wakes you up gently instead of abruptly.
- Weather forecast and temperature measurments allow you to be prepared for conditions outside.
- You can check the time and temperature in bed by simply looking at the ceiling using the projection beam feature.
