Mopping the floor is not a chore most people enjoy; traditional cleaning apparatuses often do more to spread dirty water around than actually clean the floor! Rag, sponge and even wonder mops are fine in the beginning but after awhile they get smelly, stained and begin to fall apart. For this reason and many others, people have begun to enjoy cleaning gadgets like the Swiffer Wet Jet.

Pros
The nicest thing about the Swiffer is you never have to use the same pad twice, which means no more dirty, stinky or falling apart mop heads! The bottom of the device has a Velcro strip where cleaning pads attach, once you have cleaned the floor simply pull it off and toss it in the garbage. In addition, this mopping device comes with great smelling cleaners that attach to the unit; a simple push of a button sprays cleaner exactly, where you need it most.

Cons
Swiffer wet jets are not without a couple of drawbacks, first it requires four AA batteries to propel the cleaner. As you know once, the batteries are dead no more automatic mop. One-way consumers get past this problem is by spraying cleaners by hand and mopping them up. Probably the biggest complaint from Swiffer owners is the inability to refill the cleaner bottles. If you are handy with a pair of pliers, this no longer becomes a problem!

Conclusion
If you want a quick not to mention more sanitary method for cleaning your floors the Swiffer wet jet is a good option. They are handy to use, always fresh and not that expensive when you consider options like the steam mop, which will set, you back $100 or more. Overall, this nice cleaning gadget can be modified to make it even more cost effective.
