The Coolest Clock Gadget: Home Theater Watch
by Stephanie
When I was faced with the incredibly difficult task of finding a gift for my father's upcoming birthday I knew I'd have to find something totally unique as he is one of those annoying people who literally has everything. As an avid movie and music lover and also someone who is fascinated by the latest nifty gadgets, I knew The Home Theater Watch would be just perfect for dad.
Much like the gadget's name suggests, The Home Theater Watch serves two purposes, acting as a clock for telling time on the go and also for providing you with a personalized home theater experience. Now when dad is waiting in a long line at the grocery store he can pass the time watching the latest release, catch up on his favorite TV show, or even listen to his favorite tunes.
The Home Theater Watch features a rather large screen at 1.5 inches with a display offering 260 thousand colors for vibrant, realistic looking images. The watch includes two full gigabytes of built in memory to allow for storing a full, feature length movie and it is capable of playing a variety of popular media files.
In addition to watching videos, the watch even acts as a JPEG picture viewer and plays WMA, MP1, MP2, and MP3 audio files. Dad can also connect the gadget to his computer with a USB cable for downloading movies, pictures, and songs as it comes with software to convert your media such as AVI, MPEG, or WMV files to the necessary format for playback.
The only negative aspect I can think of about The Home Theater Watch is its initial price, which averages about $150, although for the quality display and variety of features it provides this cool clock gadget has been worth the money with all the enjoyment it has brought to both dad and mom.
